"Self-leveling systems for decorative casting are used since several years for castings on decorative handwork.
They are also used for manufacturing decorative pieces of furniture (tables, desks etc.)
The process begins by mixing two liquid components, the Resin and the Hardener.
Both Resin and Hardeners have specific hazardous characteristics only when in liquid phase.
According to the Safety data the materials, when in liquid form, may be irritant
and dangerous for the environment of the workers.
They are not flammable at all because the components are solvent-free.
When the system is curing, the functional groups react between themselves and the system loses its chemical reactivity. Therefore the properly cured system loses its hazardous characteristics.
Thus the cured system is comparable to any other plastic objet used in houses and shops."
